LOCAL IMPACT
Hochtief are working in Coulsdon by following the Croydon Code of Practice as a Considerate Constructor, signed up to follow guidelines for working in construction whilst aware of the impact on local people and places.

INDUSTRIAL ESTATE CLEANUP
As part of the site clearance in preparation for work on the scheme, Hochtief have been cleaning up the old industrial estate by the railway line north of Coulsdon South station.  The land is badly contaminated with oils/fuels/solvents and all sorts of other substances that damage the environment.  When the Coulsdon Town Centre Improvement Scheme nears its finished state, we will be planting new trees, shrubs, flowers and so on as part of the company's commitment to local environmental issues.
